Fr. George Gartelos


Father George was born at Fort Belvoir in Alexandria, Virginia and grew up in Englewood, Colorado. After high school, he attended Colorado State University (Go Rams!!!) where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with an emphasis on Early Childhood Development and Education. Father George graduated from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology (Master's of Divinity with Distinction) in 2004.  On May 9 of that year, he was ordained to the Holy Diaconate, and then to the Holy Priesthood on June 27, both Ordinations by His Eminence Metropolitan Isaiah in Denver, Colorado.

After serving in parishes in Wyoming and Texas, Father George was assigned as the Proistamenos (Presiding Priest) of our Holy Trinity parish in August of 2015 by His Eminence Metropolitan Isaiah of Denver.
